We are sorry, but we are not accepting applications at this time.
Applications for our Fall semester can be found here and will be available from June 1, 2021 thru July 16, 2021.
Under normal circumstances, classes are offered twice per year. The spring semester begins in February and the fall semester begins in August.
We are not accepting applications at this time. Our next class will begin in August. We will accept new applications from June 1, 2021 through July 16, 2021 provided there are no COVID restrictions at that time. Due to COVID, our class sizes have been much smaller than normal.
Class includes instruction in MIG, Stick, Flux Core and TIG welding. At the conclusion of the class, an inspector from the American Welding Society tests each students welds. To date, every graduate has passed the exam and their names appear in the national registry of certified welders.
In the past, classes ran 1 day a week for 16 consecutive weeks. We ran up to (5) separate classes a week, Tuesday through Saturday.
We will have (2) mobile classes operating on this or a similar schedule at an offsite location.
Our next class in the Fall at our school in Gardena, will run instead 4 to 5 days a week and last 4 to 6 weeks in length. As more facts become available, we will update this page. These classes will be more in-depth and of shorter duration.
The job training program is free of charge to those who can demonstrate financial need. We are not able to accept all applicants.
You can apply for the Gardena class or mobile class on this page when the application is available - June 1, 2021 through July 16, 2021.
