Below are just a few of the many success stories. We encourage you to stop by the school, meet our students and hear the stories first-hand.
A Moment of Clarity
In 1997, my twin brother was shot and killed. One of my close friends died in my arms. When I was shot three times, I thought to myself, "I need to turn my life around." From the time I met the instructor, I got a good vibe. He helped me with my temper, lack of patience and taught me to be humble. I now have a great paying job and the future is bright.
What a Veteran Has to Say
I was in the military, homeless, just out of prison and had few friends. I heard about ReIGNITE Hope at my church. Jami told me about the new Veterans class they were starting. It was just what I needed. I enjoyed welding so much, I never wanted to go home. Now I'm anxious to see how my future will unfold.
Given me Hope
ReIGNITE Hope has given me hope. I just got out of prison and was living paycheck to paycheck. It was a struggle. Now that I'm a certified welder, I have a skill that I'm guaranteed to succeed in life. Janet has since joined a union, has a great paying job and is currently working on the Rams Stadium.
A Bright Future Indeed
Thomas joined ReIGNITE Hope right out of prison. It was clear he was truly gifted at welding. A rep from the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union came by looking for welders. Thomas interviewed for the job and was hired the very next day. Now Thomas now has a good paying job, a pension and benefits to provide for his family.
